Not necessarily. Everyone reacts slightly differently to coffee consumption and this largely has to do with your genetics. Some people will metabolise caffeine quickly, based on their genetics, and are therefore unlikely to experience any negative side effects from such a large quantity of coffee. Those who metabolise coffee slower may react negatively to a larger quantity of coffee in that it may result in an increase in blood pressure and heart rate, increasing risk for heart disease.

The amount of cups to be taken depends on individual health and nutrition condition, as well as health conditions. High intake to those people with specific health condition like high blood pressure should be avoided. A least recommended daily intake is 2-3 full cups per day.
